Welcome to Gallery North. As the name suggests this is purely a gallery site for West Yorkshire. I am hoping to extend coverage to the Wakefield area to cover the five main towns of the West Yorkshire area.
I do not intend to cover any historical aspect other than in pictorial form, but where a historical association may occur, I will place appropriate linkes to historical sites that I have found.
At present my webmaster is working on a database system which will make the site easier to update and provide new features such as picture descriptions and improved navigation.
